Brennan's Red Wine Sangria
Serving Size:Yields about 10 (1-cup) servings
3/4 cup simple syrup, equal parts sugar and water
1 1.5L La Esquina Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah/Malbec
3/4 cup Brandy
1/2 cup Triple Sec
3/4 cup orange juice
2 Oranges, sliced into thin rounds
2 2 green apples, cored and sliced thin
2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds
While there are a lot of Sangria recipes out there, this one is great because the ingredients
are available all year round and because it's tasty!
Boil water and pour over sugar to dissolve. Cool. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher
and refrigerate, covered, 2 hours or up to 2 days. Serve over ice.
