Created by Northports own, Chef Rachel, this dish is the perfect way to spice up sweet potatoes! Dont wait for Thanksgiving make this recipe. Serve with pork, chicken and, of course, turkey!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil and roast in preheated oven until tender.
In a sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg and dates. Simmer until the dates are softened. Toss the sweet potatoes into the pan to coat evenly. Remove from heat and serve!
