Pomona Winds Wines
One thing that almost everyone knows about Brennan’s is that we love vino! So, when we were looking for a California wine to add to our New World collection, we wanted one that combined California quality and our approach to wine: high caliber wine at an exceptional value, and… the rest is history.
With some help from the Mother Nature …. Pomona Winds
Wine grapes grow all over the world, but it’s no coincidence that most of the world’s most famous wine regions are located near coasts. Why? Because of cool ocean breezes we like to call Pomona Winds, named after the Roman goddess of fruit trees and orchards. The grapes that go into Pomona Winds bask in the warm California sun during the day and catch cool Pacific Ocean breezes at night until they are picked at the peak of ripeness. Pomona Winds are easy-drinking, fruit forward wines with plenty of varietal character. They are great for picnics, everyday dinner with your family, and special events, too.
It gives the Brennan’s family great pleasure to share California’s bountiful harvest with you!

Stone fruit, citrus and oak combine in this classic California Chardonnay!
This Chardonnay has aromas of tangy lemons, sweet pineapple and Granny Smith apple. Peach, citrus and soft oak combine on the palate followed by a well-balanced finish.
Cheese: Baby Swiss, Mild Cheddar, Brick, Muenster and Colby.
Food: Pair with seafood like scallops or crab, grilled fish, poultry, pork, or white-sauced pasta dishes.

Savor dark fruit and oak until the last smooth drop!
This Merlot is a bounty of supple dark fruit. Aromas of mixed berries, including blueberries and boysenberry, introduce this wine, followed by dark cherries, oak and more mixed berries on the palate. Smooth until the last drop.
Cheese: Aged Cheddar, Aged Swiss, Brie
Food: Pair with spicy pasta dishes, beef steaks, burgers, and even poultry dishes.

Crisp, clean and citrusy!
One whiff of this Pinot Grigio will immediately transport you to a citrus grove with citrus blossom and lemon zest aromas. More citrus abounds on the palate with key lime, pineapple with stone and a hint of spice. A crisp, clean finish as you would expect in a Pinot Grigio.
Cheese: Baby Swiss, Mild Cheddar, Brick, Monterey Jack, and Gouda.
Food: Pair with salads, seafood, poultry and lightly-sauced pasta dishes like linguine with clams.

Dark fruit, jam and toasty oak!
This Cabernet opens with rich aromas of wild huckleberry jam, toasty oak and dark berries. The aromas are echoed on the palate where ripe fruit and oak merge into a big, long, tasty finish.
Cheese: Aged Cheddar and Aged Swiss.
Food: Pair with grilled steak, red-sauced pasta dishes, spicy lamb, and even spicy chili. |

Juicy fruit, spice and supple finish!
Aromas of strawberries and blackberries introduce this Syrah. The palate bursts with flavors of currant, cranberry and spicy cinnamon. The ripe and juicy fruit lead into the supple, smooth finish.

Food: Pair with grilled beef, pork, lamb and even poultry.
