Taste
Australia in Every Drop!
On wine buying trip to Australia, Skip Brennan
stumbled upon a wonderful olive oil and had to find out who
made it. Soon, he found himself at the door of Australia’s
leading olive grove located on the banks of the Murray River,
and the rest is history.
About the Olive
Grove
Located
in South Australia, Victoria’s climate is ideal for
olive cultivation. Located at a latitude of 34 degrees south,
the inland climate essentially mirrors dry
Mediterranean conditions. The characteristically cool
winters and long hot growing season nurture high
quality olives.
About
the Olive Oil
Estate-grown
Barnea, Coratina, Koroneiki and Picual olives were blended
and cold-pressed to produce this distinctive first press extra
virgin olive oil. Golden in color with light green notes,
this EVOO combines fresh grassy aromas and complex
fruity flavors of apples and unripe bananas. The finish displays
mild bitterness and balanced moderate pungency.
How
to Use
A great dipping
oil or use liberally when grilling, in salads, pasta, soups,
marinades and sauces.
