While traditionally made with red wine, white wines offer a refreshing alternative to this classic drink. Make sure you make this a little in advance to give the flavors a chance to come together. Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
2 bottles dry white wine, like South Island Sauvignon Blanc, Bootleg White or 1 bottle of Brennan's Cellars 1.5L Sauvignon Blanc 1/2 cup dry sherry 1/2 cup orange flavored liqueur, like Cointreau or Triple Sec 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 bunch seedless green grapes 1 lemon, unpeeled and sliced 2 peaches, unpeeled, pitted and sliced 1/2 honeydew, peeled, seeded and diced 1/2 liter club soda (add right before serving)
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher (except club soda), stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. Add club soda and serve immediately over ice.
