Prosecco Popsicles

For a fun alternative to a summer cooler, try this prosecco pop recipe--itÂ’s easy to make and sure to impress at even the fanciest of deck parties this summer.

Ingredients:
    ½ cup sugar
    ½ cup water
    ½ cup flat Italia Prosecco (stir to make sure that all the bubbles are gone)
    ½ cup sliced strawberries
    2 sliced, peeled kiwi fruit

    Special equipment:
    8 Popsicle sticks
    Popsicle molds


Preparation:

Combine sugar and water in small saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 30 seconds, remove from heat, and let cool for 5 minutes.
Combine sugar syrup and Prosecco.

Add 1 or 2 pieces fruit to each of 8 molds. Fill molds with prosecco mixture, and add Popsicle sticks. Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
