They are a rich mahogany color and delicious. Fresh for your enjoyment Did you know? The sweet cherry is thought to have originated around 70 B.C in the area between the Black and Caspian Seas in Asia Minor. In the 1600's, English colonists finally brought cherries to North America. So, thank you to those colonists! Besides eating out of hand, cherries are great in parfaits, pies, scones, muffins and sangria. Happy cherry eating!
