This burger is packed with big flavors and will become a regular on your summer grilling menus. This recipe makes 8 child-sized burgers and 4 adult burgers. Adjust the recipes based on your count.

Ingredients:

3 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
12 hamburger buns, lightly toasted
1 jar Terrapin Ridge Farms Balsamic Onion Jam
2/3 cup mayo or Terrapin Ridge Farms Everything Aioli
12 slices American Cheese or your favorite sliced cheese
lettuce and dill pickle chips, for topping

Directions:

Mix first 3 ingredients in large bowl until just blended. Shape half of meat mixture into eight 1/2-inch-thick patties. Shape remaining meat mixture into four 1-inch-thick patties. (Can be made 8 hours ahead. Cover and chill.)

Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Grill patties to desired doneness, topping with cheese for last minute of cooking, about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare1-inch thick patties. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns and top with onion jam, lettuce and pickles. Spread the top of the bun with mayo/aioli. Enjoy!
