Yikes. We’ve been getting a lot of calls for our 10 lb boxes Michigan Blueberries. It’s been a tough year in Michigan with the frosts in April after an unseasonably warm March and now all this heat.  Our main grower Fat Boys Farms let us know this morning that that all their blueberries dried up in the heat wave. So our produce buyers are working around the clock to find some and they have.  We do have #10 boxes this weekend.

Usually the Michigan Blueberry season is 8 weeks. Initially we thought that the season would be about 4 weeks this year, but now it is looking like a lot less. Mother nature will have the final say on that. So, the moral of the story is… if you want 10lb boxes of blueberries now is the time, but please call if you are making a special trip.
